Job Title: Manual Test Engineer (Level 2 / Sr-Level)
No of position(s): 2
Total Years of Experience in Software Industry: 6 – 8 years
Minimum Experience in testing Projects: 6 years
Work Location: Hyderabad ODC – Financial District.
Work hours: 1 – 10 pm IST
When do we need the person to join? Immediate to 2 weeks
Mandatory Skills: Insurance Domain, Manual Testing, Automation Testing
Key Responsibilities
1. He/She will be responsible for designing, developing test plan/strategy, test scenarios and test cases documentation. 2. Run the smoke and regression test scenarios/cases and provide test results and status reports. 3. To work independently under client environment and meeting the testing requirements. 4. To setup the test data in Test/UAT environments for every regression test run 5. To provide on-going operational support including upgrades, defect fixes and any requirement change activities. 6. To work in line with the testing policies, and procedures 7. To reports status, issues and risks to business leads, supervisor, and senior leadership on a regular basis Must-Have Capabilities:
1. Experience in manual testing and regression testing. 2. Experience in documenting the test plan/approach, test scenarios and test cases and perform test reviews. 3. Experience with SQL for creating test data and testing the reports and dashboards. 4. Experience with testing REST web services and APIs 5. Experience in bug posting, tracking and route cause analysis. 6. Experience in Jira and Agile scrum methodologies. 7. Actively participate in functional, system and regression testing activities 8. Experience in working with Insurance related domains Good-to-have / Advantage Capabilities:
1. Experience in Mobile testing 2. Knowledge on any test management tool 3. Exposure on Selenium 4. Knowledge on PostgreSQL is a plus 5. Demonstrated experience in performance/load tests Personality / Behaviour:
